Cannot beleive it is almost a month since I last did some work on the website!  We have added a donations option and a donations meter, it costs us about R1750 per month to keep Swinging Couples afloat, please donate when you are in a position to do so and help us pay the bills!

We have enhanced the members profile page to reflect some system data, join date, last online, profile views, etc.  We have also integrated the chat application into the members profile.  If a member is online, there will be a chat link below there avatar on the profile page.  The community page has also been rehashed for better readability.

In an attempt to make browsing SA Couples a more pleasurable experience, we have invested some time in optimizing the SA Couples database, code and website template.  The end result is an increase in database performance and page load speed, we are seeing a speed enhancement of about 35% and hope that you to are finding that the website is loading faster.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to add to and improve sacouples.co.za.  Over the past few days we have added a feature that will allow you to see who has viewed your profile, add this through the Applications menu.  We have also added a Suggested Friends application, click on the green tick to add as a friend or the ed X to ignore the user, a profile update activity feed that will add a notification to the community activity stream when someone updates their profile.

Many of you have indicated that you would like to see the members home language. I mistakenly thought the language of the bedroom was universal!  To remedy this, we have added the following language options, English, Afrikaanse, Xhosa, Zulu and Other.  Please browse to your profile and update your record.  If you are a couple, please remember to update the home language for both 'Him' and 'Her".  Once we have all done this, you will be able to filter your searches by 'home language'.
